Experience the Power of Doing Absolutely Nothing About Your Concerns in Retirement

Let me give you an example of the power of the true self over the false. When you fret and worry sometimes the best course of action is to take no action whatsoever.

Why? Because inaction can prove a creative process, opening the door for the higher self to step in and take over; leading to a surprising solution: dissolving the problem rather than providing an answer.

In the lower or false self you are so anxious to do something; so wrapped up in the tension and suspense surrounding the quandary that you are tempted to do almost anything to settle the matter one way or another. That is the false self in action and it leads to poor judgements and impulsive behaviour that only deepens the perceived difficulty.

o Experience the power of doing absolutely nothing about minor concerns;

o Give your mind a chance to clear itself;

o Don’t be so eager to obtain a result.

The answer is already within you but you will never find it as long as you continue to chase around frantically looking for it.

In essence, the key to contentment, enrichment and fulfilment in the third age experience hinges on developing an increasing awareness of the difference between the disparate selves of the psyche; choosing to live in the higher self; avoiding the perils of the lower self.
