How to Escape the Mental Merry-Go-Round in Retirement

o How often have you wished you could blot out your mind and just stop thinking about things?

o How often have you wished you could jump off the mental merry-go-round of frippery and fandango that takes you nowhere?

Think about it: this desire to stop thinking proves something. It proves that you recognise the utter futility of tackling life with nothing more at your command than the inadequate tool of habitual, conditioned, shallow thinking.

Thoughts have their place in the scheme of things; they are essential but at the same time represent only a secondary power. There is something else far superior.

You can and should stop thinking purely with old, personalised, biased, talk-addicted thought patterns that get you nowhere.

The natural replacement for conditioned thinking is awareness.

But it vital that you understand the vast differential between thought and awareness; engaging perhaps for the first time ever in the miracle of unleashing your full mental powers.
